Samsung Note 20 and Samsung Note 20 Ultra: Design comparison
Most brands have the habit of making sure that the devices coming from the same versions have the exact or almost same designs. Samsung however, leaped the tradition with the Samsung S20 models. And now it is continuing in the Samsung Note 20 and Samsung Note 20 Ultra.
When it comes to giving off the best premier look, Note 20 Ultra wins the comparison. Because it is designed with usual rear glass meanwhile Note 20 has been switched to Glasstic – which is plastic.
There is another obvious change in design between these models. Samsung Note 20 has a softer curved side like usual smartphones. And Samsung Note 20 Ultra has a squared side which gives it a more exotic look to make it more premium and professional.
Some might say that the Ultra is pretty big for their taste and Note 20 fits perfectly. But it just depends on your preference because we think both of them are amazing.
Samsung Note 20 and Samsung Note 20 Ultra: Hardware
There isn’t much difference between the two models when it comes to hardware. Both the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm and have both LTE and 5G versions according to where you live. With the 5GB model, Samsung Note 20 Ultra comes in 12 GB RAM. With the LTE model, you can get the Ultra with 8 GB RAM. But the Samsung Note 20 sticks with only 8GB for both LTE and 5G versions.
The Batteries of both these models do not differ much. The Note 20 comes with 4300mAh capacity and the Ultra comes with 4500 mAh capacity. There is a very small difference but in our opinion, it isn’t much or even worth mentioning.
Samsung Note 20 and Samsung Note 20 Ultra: Display
The technology in the displays of both these smartphones is pretty different. The Note 20’s display is 6.7-inch AMOLED Full HD+ at 60Hz. This is the same thing that the Samsung Note 10 models got. There seem to be no new upgrades for note 20.
And the Ultra’s display is a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate and Quad HD+ resolution. That is a big difference between the models from the same family and it definitely puts Note 20 Ultra back on top.
Both the devices have the access to use the S pen as usual like all the other Galaxy smartphones. The S pens have been upgraded drastically and this news will be a good one for the designers who use the devices for their projects and artworks. It is said to be more efficient and easier to navigate than ever before.

Samsung Note 20 and Samsung Note 20 Ultra: Cameras
We could say the camera quality of both these smartphones is almost the same. Both these models have ultra-wide cameras and both of them have a 10 – megapixel front camera. The difference starts with the zooming features. The Ultra gets a 12-megapixel zoom with 5x optical.
Meanwhile, Note 20 offers only 30x zoom which means it is 3x optical. There isn’t much of a difference and even though Ultra models always have better features than the usual or original ones, the camera of these devices doesn’t change much.
To conclude, if you have been disappointed with the Samsung Galaxy S20 models, Note 20 makes up for all of them. With bigger screens, you have the chance to work with an S pen more efficiently and easily. For an ordinary Galaxy smartphone with a little more new upgrades or features, Note 20 will be more than perfect.
But if you are looking for a more premium or fashionable version of the same smartphone with extra upgrades, the Samsung Note 20 Ultra is worth the price and everything you put in to buy it.
