What is the iPhone 13 release date in Singapore and the rest of the world?

Apple usually releases or announces iPhones during September. However, September 2020 was a different story considering the delay in production because of the covid restriction around the world. We didn’t get any announcement or an iPhone in September 2020 but rumours have it that this year will not be a disappointment.

It was predicted by some analysts that Apple’s production and manufacturing has gone back to normal and some products like new iPhone chips are actually ahead of schedule. If the same goes on, we might be getting some unveiling by Apple in September this year.

Apple usually releases the iPhones on Fridays and most of their events are always held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. So we can assume that the iPhone 13 will be released on any of these days in September. So that’s it for iPhone 13 release date in Singapore and the rest of the world.

What are some features of the iPhone 13?

A lot of rumours say that iPhone 13 will be similar to iPhone 12 when it comes to design and will have a few updated features.

Another rumour from a social media platform called Weibo stated that the iPhone 13 will have larger batteries. The capacity of these batteries is said to be around 3000 mAh and 4000 mAh. The iPhone 13 is also said to be released in the same series as the iPhone, iPhone Mini, iPhone Pro, and iPhone Pro Max.

The battery capacity will depend on the model it seems. But just because the battery capacity is increased doesn’t mean that battery life will be increased too. We are gonna have to wait and figure out how the latest version handles it.

Another rumour that’s been going around is that the iPhone 13 might not even be called the iPhone 13. For some superstitious reason, most of the buildings or companies avoid the number 13. Some buildings don’t even use the number 13 in their elevator because of it so there might be a possibility that Apple would do the same. But nothing is confirmed tho.

Apple could also release the new iPhone in the name iPhone 12S like how it released the next lineup of iPhone 6 in the name of iPhone 6S. It is a lucky guess but we’ll have to wait to confirm that one.

Here are some major rumours and leaks about the new iPhone lineup:

  • A new refresh rate of 120Hz is rumoured to be present in iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max
  • Touch ID button might be returning in the iPhone 13
  • The feature of the always-on display is rumoured to be present. This feature means that your phone will always display time and battery like the Apple watches without having to unlock the screen every time you wanna see it.

What would be the price of the iPhone 13?

Some Apple analysts have predicted that the new iPhone 13 won’t have much price difference compared to iPhone 12. This is because there aren’t any major or important changes happening in this new version of the iPhone.

If there are no problems in production and manufacturing, as they say, this might be true. If not, Apple might throw in some major changes and take some time to do it and the price will go up a little more than iPhone 12.

Should I get the iPhone 12 or wait for the release of the iPhone 13?

It is understandable to wait around for a brand new model when you’re planning to buy a new phone. But in some cases, you have no choice but to get the latest one available in the market without waiting. Here are some of those reasons:

  • If you are using a very old or considerably old model of iPhone, buying the iPhone 12 is worth it. But if you just want to switch it up between iPhone 11 and iPhone 12, then no. You should wait.
  • If your iPhone has some major repair issues, and you have to go to several repair shops to try and fix it, then you should go for iPhone 12.
  • It is rumoured that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 12 won’t have any big differences so if you really want to buy and have the money, go for it.
